Our printers use UV-curable ink. This means:
The hardened surface forms a plastic-like surface that is highly resistant to mechanical wear, moisture and UV light.
The surface is dry immediately after curing and there is no risk of smearing or soiling the surrounding area.

Digital printing, now with process color CMYK+W with the addition of white at full production speed
New technology with UV-curable inks enables permanent marking at very high speeds, in high resolution and in full process color even with the addition of white.
UV-curable ink stays on the surface and is not absorbed by the wood fibers (no "bleeding"). This gives razor-sharp results even on absorbent substrates.
The marking is permanent and will not fade or fall off over time.
Enables high-resolution ISPM15, IPPC and other quality stamps as well as logos and traceability markings (date, time, QR codes, etc.)

No cliché costs
The initial cost and time delay of developing a cliché for a new product is completely eliminated.
Even inventory and handling costs for the clichés disappear.

What we offer
Robust and reliable
High resolution full process color digital printing for packaging production
GSI's high-resolution printing system and UV-curable inks make it possible to replace screen printing, clichés and labels with digital direct printing on industrial packaging.
The systems deliver high-resolution printing in full process color (CMYK) and can also be equipped with SmartWHITE™ (CMYK+W) for clear marking on dark or colored surfaces with admixture of white.
This makes it possible to print logos, product information, barcodes, and QR and Datamatrix codes directly in production – without pre-printed components, specially made clichés or labels.
The result is flexible production, lower costs and clear, durable labeling that withstands transport, handling and outdoor storage.

Pallets and pallet collars: Direct printing of logos, item information, barcodes and traceability markings on pallets and pallet collars.
Boxes and transport packaging: Marking on wooden or plastic boxes for identification, traceability and branding directly in the production line.

Certified technology

Extreme durability: Creates a hard, plastic-like surface that withstands impregnation, dye dipping and chemicals without fading or dissolving.
Weather resistance: 100% UV and water resistant. Marking remains razor sharp for years of outdoor storage.
Smudge-free production: Cures in a fraction of a second. No drying time required, eliminating smudges even at maximum speed.
No "bleeding": The ink stays on the surface instead of being absorbed by the wood fibers. Provides perfectly readable QR codes even on rough surfaces.
Maximum contrast: Enables opaque white text on dark surfaces, providing a readability that other technologies can never match.

Extreme Ink Throw Distance and High Line Speeds
Extreme print distance (25 mm): Enables high-quality black and white prints at a distance that is unique in the industry.
Market-leading speed: Maintained precision at over 150 m/min, eliminating marking as a bottleneck in high-performance lines. The printer can handle up to 300 m/min with reduced resolution.
Maximum mechanical protection: The long distance allows the print head to be placed behind robust guards, eliminating the risk of collisions with lumber that is not perfectly straight.
Minimal maintenance: By keeping your head out of the zone where chips and wood fibers swirl, dirt buildup is dramatically reduced. The result is fewer stops for cleaning and a significantly longer equipment life.

Single pass Multi-color printing on most materials
Two colors in one pass: The most efficient solution on the market. Print with two colors simultaneously from the same print head – halving the hardware requirement and simplifying installation.
Black + White for maximum contrast: Create a white background with a black QR code for guaranteed readability on dark fiber blocks and dirty wood.
Customizable color choices: In addition to Black/White, we offer combinations with Blue, Green, Red or customer-specific colors for clear brand branding.
Versatile adhesion: UV technology means that multi-color printing adheres just as well to wood and composite as it does to plastic and plywood without the colors bleeding together.
